LIFE Runners / Project Rachel

The Diocese Respect Life Office is proud to team up with LIFE Runners to pray, to raise awareness, to raise funds, and to run...for LIFE! The LIFE Runners, a team of pro-life marathon runners from around the globe, run together every Fall in a different marathon. This year our local LIFE Runners Chapter will also be running in the Rock the Parkway Half Marathon in KC on Saturday April 14. In addition to raising awareness, the LIFE Runners from Kansas City area are raising funds for Project Rachel. Project Rachel is the Catholic Church's healing ministry for those who have been impacted by abortion. Project Rachel operates as a network of professional counselors and priests, all trained to provide one-on-one spiritual and psychological care for those who are suffering the pain of abortion.
